FBD Associates Inc. (FBDA) is a Canadian corporation with offices in Ottawa, ON and Vancouver, BC. The company is privately owned.

FBDA was incorporated in Jan 2000 and has been in business since that date. FBDA acquired certain components of its migration technology which were developed by a predecessor company starting in 1990.

FBDA is a technology company specializing in the development of software tools for the analysis and transformation of Natural/Adabas applications to more modern technologies such as Java and Oracle.

The business model implemented by FBDA is to license its migration technologies to a local partner providing consulting services so that the team can offer turn-key migration solutions to customers worldwide. In certain cases FBDA provides services in addition to licensing its technology; usually where the customer prefers this arrangement and/or the level of effort is consistent with FBDA available resources.
